Clean or replace your carpet?
It’s looking a little worse for wear, but you are undecided whether to clean or replace your carpet? In most cases it’s much cheaper and less hassle to have your carpets cleaned. However there are some cases where we would recommend you replacing your carpet(s).
Generally we advise that if your carpet is visibly worn or damaged then replacing it might be the best option, as cleaning will do little to help this. Similarly if you have ground in stains that won’t budge, again it might be time to replace the carpet.
…but how do I know if the stains are going to come out?
Before completing any cleaning, Careclean like to visit your home to have a good look at your carpets/upholstery. We then will recommend a cleaning package that’s appropriate to your carpets and your needs. For example…
You have a large family and/or cats and dogs – we might suggest a ‘clean and protect’ to help keep your carpets cleaner for longer
You want more regular cleans and an emergency call out option – we will show you our maintenance plan
Looking for something quick and easy (but still a high quality clean!)? How about our ‘clean only’ option
There is a BIG advantage of us looking at your carpets first. We will give you our honest opinion on whether stains are going to come out or not. We will tell you if your worn carpet is not going to look much different! Now, you might be thinking, you’re a carpet cleaner, you’re not going to persuade me not to have my carpet cleaned! Well, the fact is that Careclean offers a full refund if customers aren’t 100% satisfied with the work. Therefore we won’t make promises we can’t keep! We will give you our honest and professional opinion and you can decide from there.
Hear from one of our customers…
“My husband and I recently moved house. Our downstairs was mainly wooden floors but the stairs were carpeted. The previous owners had obviously spent a lot of money on the carpet; it had fancy edging and ornamental vintage hinges. We loved it but it looked very grubby, so we decided we’d have to replace it. However, I was talking to a friend on the school run, and she recommended a local cleaning company called Careclean. My husband wasn’t convinced. But as they offered a free quote, we thought what do we have to lose? The gentleman, Kevin, that came round was very knowledgeable. He had a really good look at the carpet and talked through the different cleaning options; he was honest in telling us that there were a couple of small stains that might not completely come out but that he thought overall the carpet would clean up very well. Kevin also confirmed that it was a very high quality carpet and to completely replace it and stick with the edging and hinges, we could expect to pay a lot! We booked the job, and was absolutely delighted with the clean. It looks brand new… and we opted for protection treatment to keep it looking that way for longer!”
